Installing an aftermarket alarm in the Vehicles is easier than most Vehicles because of a prewired system in the fuse panel. Additional add-ons such as remote start, pager alert notification and GPS tracking systems are all available from alarm manufacturers. Installing an alarm in the Vehicles requires knowledge of automotive electrical systems and basic tools.

Read the manufacturer's installation manual and identify all of the parts and connections. Open the hood and remove the positive battery cable from the terminal. Mount the siren in an open area of the engine bay, if desired. Face the siren towards the engine and run the wires through the firewall in front of the steering wheel.
Slide the driver side seat back as far as it will go and remove the fuse box panel and lower dash panel on the driver's side. Locate the primary wire bundle under the dash and attach the alarm control console to it with zip ties. Locate the white power wire in the fuse box and plug the connector into it.
Mount the shock sensor under the dash, just to the side of the stereo. Run the wires back to the control module. Plug the power lock module into the power lock relay above the fuse box.
Snap out one of the dash blanks on the left side of the dash and drill a small hole in it for the LED. Snap the LED into place and connect the wire to the control module.
Locate the starter wire in the ignition wire bundle and connect the start disable relay. Wire the relay, power, lock module and horn relay into the control module.
Reconnect the positive battery cable on the Honda CR-V and test the alarm. Make adjustments to the alarm sensitivity level as needed.

Read the installation manual carefully. Identify all of the parts and connections. Open the hood and disconnect the positive battery cable.
Locate an open area and mount the alarm siren in the engine bay. Connect the alarm power wire to the positive battery cable. Run all of the wires to the driver's side of the firewall and feed them into the cabin.
Drill a small hole in the dash for the LED light and snap it into place. Locate the power lock relay under the dash if the truck is so equipped and connect the alarm's power lock module. Mount the shock sensor per the manufacturer's recommendations.
Identify the starter wire in the ignition harness and attach the start disable relay. Run all of the wires to the driver's side of the dash and connect the to the alarm control module. Install any additional options and the passlock module now and connect them to the control module. Secure the control module as far into the dash as possible with zip ties.
Reconnect the positive battery cable and test the alarm on the Silverado. Adjust the alarm sensitivity level as desired and secure any loose wires with a zip tie.

Passlock bypass module
Open the hood and disconnect the positive battery cable. Remove the fuse box cover under the dash on the driver's side and push the driver's seat all the way back.
Identify the white and black door lock trigger wires and attach the alarm's door lock relay. Find the white power wire and connect the alarm's power wire.
Find an open area in the engine bay of the Accord and mount the siren facing the engine to limit water exposure when driving. Pull the wire along the body or firewall to the driver's side. Feed the wire through the firewall using the existing hole.
Mount the shock sensor per the manufacturer's recommendation and run the wires to the driver's side of the dash. Locate the black and white start kill wire in the ignition harness and attach the start disable relay.
Secure the alarm control module as far into the dash as possible with zip ties and connect the power, door lock relay, siren and start disable wire to the control module. Reconnect the positive battery cable and test the alarm. Adjust the sensitivity as necessary and secure any loose wires.

Read the alarm manufacturer's manual carefully and identify each of the parts included. Open the hood and remove the positive battery cable from the terminal. Connect the alarm power wire to the positive cable and run it along the firewall to the driver's side.
Find an open area in the engine bay and mount the siren facing the engine. Pull the wires to the driver's side of the firewall and feed all of the wires through the firewall and into the cabin.
Remove the lower dash panel beneath the steering wheel and open the fuse box. Snap the alarm's door lock module into the existing door lock relay, located in the driver door by unsnapping the trim clips. Drill a small hole for the LED light and snap it into place.
Mount the shock sensor per the manufacturer's instructions and locate the starter wire in the ignition harness in the steering wheel column. Attach the start disable relay and run all of the wires under the dash.
Connect the power, LED, siren, door lock and disable relay wires to the control module. Mount the control module as far into the dash as possible by securing it to a heavy wire bundle or cross member with zip ties.
Reconnect the positive battery cable on the Toyota Corolla and test the alarm. Adjust the alarm's sensitivity as needed and secure any loose wires with zip ties.
