Kim Kardashian showed off her very expensive new ride on the finale of the Discovery+ TV show, Million Dollar Wheels.
The reality star made a brief appearance on the show, getting to see her new $400,000 custom Maybach minivan for the first time after meeting with car dealer RD Whittington. In a clip from the forthcoming finale, Kardashian exclaims, “Oh my God, this is amazing!” after stepping into the garage and seeing the luxury vehicle for the first time. Once inside the car, she was even more blown away by all of its extravagant bells and whistles.
Whittington explains that this minivan “is literally the first one in the U.S.” of its kind, adding, “We've been super excited, working around the clock to make this happen.” He then proceeds to show Kardashian all of the car's features, including changing the interior lighting from cool blue to warm yellow, a TV that rolls up and down, and a petition that can frost over with the push of a button. “We literally thought of everything in this to make it completely custom just for you,” he concluded.
And Kardashian has plans to put the new car to use right away, telling the show's host, “So I'm going to school in this tomorrow. We were joking that we needed a bus. Who needs a bus?” She added that she's been “a car girl” her “whole life,” explaining “I had the four Maybach trucks, and I need a fleet, so I was like, if I'm not going to get this then I might sell them all and move into Rolls [Royces] or something.”
She also discussed getting the black high-end minivan painted gray as all of her cars are the exact same shade of “ghost gray” as her home. In a video for Vogue last month, Kardashian told the magazine, “I really wanted something different. I wanted my cars to blend in with my house which is grey. So I did all grey cars, instead of my typical matte silver, which I used to do. I picked out my Lamborghini Urus with a kit on the front, Rolls Royce Ghost with a crystal lady, and my Maybach Sedan. I love everything about it, painting the emblem gray, if I were to pick one [the Maybach] - that's my baby right there!”
