Maruti Suzuki is offering attractive benefits of up to Rs 47,000 on its range of Nexa cars. These benefits can be availed in the form of cash discounts, corporate discounts and exchange benefits on some Nexa models like the Ignis, Ciaz and the S-Cross. Read on for more details.
Maruti Suzuki Ignis
Save up to Rs 33,000
The most affordable car in the Nexa range of cars, the Ignis, is powered by an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine paired, which is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. The car’s highlight is its funky design and the rev-happy petrol motor. Benefits of Rs 33,000 can be availed, however, the cash discount of Rs 20,000 is only for the manual transmission.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
Save up to Rs 30,000
The long-running Ciaz can be had with benefits of up to Rs 30,000, but there is no cash discount available for the sedan. The sales of the Ciaz have fallen behind its rivals like the Honda City and the Skoda Slavia, but the sedan offers an excellent value-for-money quotient, especially after the discounts. It is offered with a 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
Save up to Rs 47,000
The S-Cross gets a cash benefit of Rs 17,000 on the Zeta trim, and Rs 12,000 on all other trims. However, an exchange bonus and corporate discount of Rs 30,000 is available across all variants. The S-Cross is a competent car, but does not have the typical presence of SUVs, and is quite old now.
The carmaker has shown the new S-Cross in the international markets, but it might not come to India. Maruti Suzuki is preparing a Creta-rivalling midsize SUV in collaboration with Toyota.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno
No discounts for April
Maruti Suzuki recently launched the new Baleno hatchback and the carmaker is not offering any discounts for it this month. The new model, like its predecessor, has been a hit with carbuyers hitting the 50,000 booking mark within a month of its launch. The premium hatchback currently commands a waiting period of three to four months. Maruti Suzuki is also going to launch the Baleno CNG in the coming months, with CNG for other Nexa cars set to follow suit.
Maruti Suzuki XL6
No discounts for April
Maruti Suzuki is not offering any discounts on their six-seater MPV. However, it is set to receive a mid-cycle facelift by the end of this month. Apart from cosmetic changes, it will get a more fuel-efficient engine and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. The XL6 facelift will follow the Ertiga facelift.
