The GT starts at $63,000, while the middle model, Modena Limited Edition, is only available online and costs $77,400. Maserati habitually uses the names of winds in Italy to name vehicles. The Grecale is no different, with the name coming from the northeasterly Mediterranean wind. This gives us the feeling of a vehicle made to blow past any of the competition it faces swiftly.
How much power does this luxury SUV offer?
The three initial models offer three power levels. The GT and Modena models use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, according to Kelley Blue Book. The GT version returns 296 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft. of torque. The Modena model adds a mild-hybrid system to increase power to 325 horsepower.
If the Trofeo model of the Maserati Grecale is more your speed, you’ll find a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine under the hood. This engine produces 523 horsepower and 457 lb.-ft. of torque for your driving excitement.
