Understand the cost of the vehicle registration document?
The price of the registration certificate is determined from various facts eurs:
The power of the vehicle: by power, we mean the number of fiscal horsepower of your car. For example, in Paris, the price of a fiscal horse is € 46.15. This price is recalculated each year by the various Regional Councils. The more tax horses there are, the more expensive your vehicle registration document will be. CO2 emissions / km rejected: the more the model emits CO2, the more the penalty increases. For a vehicle emitting 130g of CO2 per kilometer, the penalty is 300 €. The amount changes gram by gram because the maximum amount is € 10,500 for vehicles emitting more than 185g / km.
When applying for a vehicle registration document, the motorist is liable for 5 taxes:
The regional tax: obtained by multiplying the price of the fiscal horse in your region by the number of fiscal horses in your car The tax on polluting vehicles The professional training tax: for vehicles dedicated to the transport of goods only The management tax: 4 € Transport costs
The regional tax is calculated as follows: number of fiscal horses in the vehicle (/ 2 if more than 10 years old) x cost of a horse in the region.
Example , for a car under 10 years old making 7 fiscal horses in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region: 7 x 51 = 357 € Total cost of the registration certificate: 357 € (regional tax) + 4 € (management tax) + 2.76 € (forwarding tax) = 363,76 €
