This dismantled remains of a rare 1963 AC Ace sports car just sold for £202,500 ($267,000) at UK auction.
This rare AC Ace was taken off the road by its owner in 1979, before being dismantled into individual parts.
The rebuild never took place, leaving the classic car in pieces and waiting to be put back together for 43 years.
The parts sold includes a engine, gearbox, bonnet, boot, doors, dashboard, keys, seats and internal body panels.
To put the price in perspective, you could buy a brand new 2021 Bentley Bentayga Speed for $247,725.

With no reserve, bidding started at £60,000 and quickly escalated to an incredible sale price of £202,500 ($267,000) that shocked even H&H Classics when the hammer dropped on Wednesday, March 16.
Damian Jones, head of sales, said :
“We knew it was going to do well, but if someone had told me before the sale what it would sell for I would have been impressed.”
Some of the components parts sold to the winning bidder includes a 2.6-litre engine, gearbox, differential, bonnet, boot, doors, dashboard, keys, hardtop, seats and internal body panels.
To put the price paid for these parts in perspective, you could buy a brand new 2021 Bentley Bentayga Speed for $247,725 and still keep some change — or better still, use the change to add some options to the luxury SUV.
