Parking Problems in Delhi
He also made a sarcastic remark about the parking space shortage in Delhi that people don’t park their car, they treat the roads as parking spots and leave their car on the road itself. He said it’s different in Mumbai where people over there have proper parking spots and park their cars over there.
Mr. Gadkari said that Tesla has already started their marketing process and will come to India. He also said that another American brand has also started planning cars in India. He did not disclose the name of the brand. He said he was happy with Tesla cars and found them to be a light, beautiful, and technologically advanced car. Alternate Fuel is the Solution
While in conversation, Mr. Gadkari also said that within next year he would be able to buy an electric vehicle and save some money for himself. He said that slowly import of petrol and diesel needs to stop to reduce pollution. We should adopt alternative fuels such as CNG, biofuel, ethanol, methanol, electric, and biodiesel if required LNG and LPG will be used.
Delhi is one of the most polluted cities and we are spending around 50 percent of medical expenses are related to air pollution and water pollution. It’s time to adopt alternate fuel and green hydrogen is the next big thing. India will soon be the largest supplier of green hydrogen and won’t bow to people who dictate prices over crude oil.
